Feline Veterinary Care
from Your Kentwood Cat Veterinarian

At Kentwood Cat Clinic and Cat Clinic North, it’s all about the cats! Our Kentwood cat veterinarian Dr. Tammy Sadek is one of only two board certified feline specialists in Michigan. As the founder and owner of our cat veterinary hospitals, Dr. Sadek has dedicated her life to providing high-quality, advanced feline care. Our comprehensive cat care services help your feline companions live a long, healthy and active life. We provide complete wellness cat care, including new kitten exams and vaccinations, cat vaccines, annual adult wellness exams, spay/neuter operations, cat dentistry and cleanings, and geriatric cat care. In addition, we provide full diagnostics for sick cats such as x-ray, ultrasound, lab testing, surgery and chemotherapy. If your cat is having behavior problems such as missing the litter box or fighting with other pets, we can help!

Each cat veterinarian and our entire veterinary team are cat lovers, and this shines through in everything we do! As members of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners, we take cat health care seriously, and strive to provide the highest quality cat clinic services. We promise to always treat your cat with tender loving care!

Kentwood cat clinic provides feline only pet care

Putting Cat Health First
at Our Kentwood Cat Veterinary Hospital

From the moment you enter our cat veterinary hospitals, you and your feline companion will experience the difference that a cats-only clinic makes. Our calm reception room is a soothing place for cats to wait – there are no dogs to cause anxiety! When you are visiting our cat clinic for care, you and your feline companion will be escorted into one of our comfortable examination rooms. We also offer cat boarding that is exclusively cats only. Our compassionate veterinary caretakers and calm environment make our cat boarding services truly one-of-a-kind!

During a routine wellness exam, our veterinarian will perform a full physical and also conduct any needed diagnostic testing, such as feline leukemia, organ function test and fecal parasite check. These tests provide a snapshot of your cat’s health. By detecting the warning signs of illness before your cat exhibits any noticeable symptoms or behavioral changes, we are better able to treat and manage potential health problems. We will also check to be sure that your feline companion is up to date on all cat vaccinations. Many vaccines, including rabies, require annual boosters to maintain their effectiveness. We offer comprehensive cat vaccinations including 4 in 1 FVRCPC (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Chlamydia), and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).

As your cats age, you may notice that they do not move quite as fast as they once did and that their hearing and other senses start to dull. What you cannot see are the physical changes taking place inside their bodies. This is why semi-annual wellness exams are incredibly important for senior cats. Many older cats suffer from age-related conditions, including hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, cataracts, diabetes and even cancer. The earlier our cat veterinarian can diagnose these conditions, the more we can do to make your cat’s golden years comfortable. We even have laser therapy for treating arthritis and other health problems.

As a cat veterinarian, Dr. Sadek provides advanced surgical care. Our cat veterinary hospitals offer laser surgery, ultrasound and video otoscopy, in addition to in-house X-rays and laboratory analysis. Our team also offers experienced medical treatment for feline-specific conditions, including feline diabetes, hepatitis, feline asthma and cat dentistry. Did you know, for example, that the majority of adult cats suffer from periodontal disease? With regular dental cleanings at a cat clinic, this condition is entirely preventable, and will save your cat from suffering through painful tooth extractions or bacterial infections.

We even offer alternative and complementary medicine such as Chinese herbal medicine and Bach Flower Essences for our clients who prefer a more natural approach.
