Pet Memorials
On behalf of the staff at Kentwood Cat Clinic and Cat Clinic North, we are honored to pay respect to our beloved animal friends who have passed. Every one is unique, has a special story and maintains a place in a human heart. This is a new section in our website. We hope to fill it with the loving memories of the pets we have treated over the past 25 years. Please e-mail us with your pet's memorial and picture.
Kokopelli
9/1/05- 1/24/12
My sweet Kokopelli,
"Our hearts still ache in sadness,
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know."
I loved you from the moment we met, and it is breaking my heart to have to say goodbye. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. Good bye my sweet boy. I will see you someday at the Rainbow Bridge.
Love,

Pumpkin
11/1/96-10/7/11
This really was a miracle in my life.
It was the end of March, winter was over, Pumpkin hated the winter! The doctor had given Pumpkin a death sentence, and offered drugs for her pain as she passed. I had sincerely prayed, that she could get through the summer. Quickly we found a unique doctor "Dr. Simon", that had a different answer for Pumpkin.
It was a wonderful summer!
Not too hot or humid.
She never just sat on the deck, she was always off somewhere???
She stayed out late, but always came back in time so we didn't worry. Even on her last day she was at the pond and I took some pictures of her-
Unbelievable, how we can take things for granted sometimes.
But if we really take time to look, the blessings are right in front of us.

Isosceles & Patches
2/24/02-3/13/10 - 3/31/02-1/06/11
We found Patches as a kitten and we got Isosceles as an adult after having his right front leg amputated. Both cats loved people. Patches was very quiet and loved to lick people's noses. Isosceles was a talker and never let having three legs slow him down. It always amazed me how fast that little man could move. We had to say goodbye to Isosceles first after an emergency exploratory surgery found cancer. Almost a year later Patches was diagnosed with cancer and again we had to say goodbye. They were very special members of our family and we miss them to this day. I thank God for blessing us with those little angels.
