Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a diagnostic tool used to create an image of the internal structures of the cat. Sound waves are used to create the picture. We perform both abdominal ultrasound as well as cardiac ultrasound. This procedure is a non-invasive way of evaluating the organ structure, size, position and density. It is also used to evaluate for any abnormalities, such as the presence of bladder stones, masses, and obstructions. Dr. Tammy P. Sadek does all of the ultrasound procedures at the Kentwood Cat Clinic.
