Boarding Facilities

At the Kentwood Cat Clinic, we have the capacity to board 22 cats in our custom boarding room. All of the cages have two shelves so your kitty can have some variety of location. Sixteen of the cages have Plexiglas windows on the back wall so your kitty can look outside into our garden and watch the birds at the feeders. The other six “overflow” cages face a large fish tank for your kitty’s entertainment. We also have a large window cage that we call the “playpen” in which cats can have more legroom and more variety. When multiple cats from the same household are at our “hotel” we will let them spend time together in the playpen during the day. We try to let every cat have at least one day in the playpen while they are here.

Currently, we only board cats that are our patients for routine care as well. We require all boarders to be current on vaccination for Rabies and FVRCP-C (distemper), and we strongly recommend vaccination for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus.) All of the cats are given fresh water, litter, and food at least twice every day. We do not have any staff stay overnight, but we do come in twice daily on weekends to care for the cats. We fill up quickly over holidays and spring break, so make your reservations early!
