Our Staff

Our staff is comprised of 25 people assisting your loved ones. Many of these staff members work together behind the scenes to give your cats the best treatment possible. Our staff has passion for animals of all kinds, but cats hold a special place in their hearts.

Tammy Sadek

Dr. Tammy P. Sadek

Founded the Kentwood Cat Clinic in 1987. She graduated first in her class at the University of Minnesota in 1984. Dr. Sadek's interests include internal medicine, ultrasound, behavioral counseling, and geriatric medicine. Dr. Sadek is Board Certified in Feline Practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is the consulting veterinarian for Hope College. She has two children, several cats, and a tolerant husband.

Dr. Maria L. Berger

Joined the Kentwood Cat Clinic in 1997. She graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Dr. Berger's professional interests include alternative medicine including herbs and homeopathy. She is married, and enjoys gardening, science fiction, and is remodeling her home. Dr. Berger enjoys traveling with her husband, especially to Disney World in the colder months of the year.

 

Dr. Joe Simon

Dr. Joe joined us in July of 2007.  He has been practicing veterinary medicine over 30 years and had his own practice in Williamston, Michigan. Joe has moved to Grand Rapids with his wife Kathy and 2 of his 4 children, JianXia and Yusheng. His other 2 daughter are Kate who is Program director for the Japan Center at MSU and Anna who is in graduate school studying art history. Dr. Joe grew up on a family farm and has carried his love of animals and gardening from an early age. Also from the farm days Dr. Joe is a great do it yourselfer. The Simons have 2 wirehaired dachshunds and 4 cats.
